Initially, this solitaire ring is dominated by a centrally set diamond: exactly 1.00 carat, W VS2, with “very good” cut, symmetry, and polish.

The diamond is securely held by four prongs in a triangular shape. The highlight: Unlike “classic” solitaire settings, the prongs are not square, but arranged in a so-called “compass design” (each pointing to east, south, west, and north). This emphasizes the classic round shape of the stone. At the same time, the solid prongs ensure that the most sensitive part of the diamond - the girdle - is perfectly protected.

The prongs extend downward into a kind of “white gold basket”, so the diamond is also perfectly protected from below, while the white gold enhances the whiteness of the diamond.

At the same time, the open setting allows light to enter from all sides, creating a dreamlike sparkle and shine. A perfectly thought-out design that combines aesthetics, refinement, and solidity!

The ring shank is also solidly crafted and measures 3-4 millimeters in width.
